The interior design of a home involves multiple investments, of time and money, establishing a style, defining a concept and implementing it, on its own or with the help of an interior designer. We accepted Ileana Răducanu’s invitation, editor-in-chief of ELLE Decoration magazine, the most important magazine for the premium interior design segment, to be partner of an unique project carried out within DallesGO. Ileana Răducanu is one of the most important promoters of Romanian design and the one who discovered and launched the careers of the majority of recent and established award winning designers in Romania. She is an interior design professor and trainer at DallesGO, in Bucharest, where she teaches a course that attracts dozens of students of all ages.
The students that participated in the autumn edition of the interior design course held by Ileana Răducanu received a detailed brief for creating the interior design of a Parcului20 two-bedroom apartment. The design theme involved taking into account the lifestyle of a couple, Tya and Bogdan, a food blogger and an IT entrepreneur, as well as maintaining their proposals within a specific budget and using as many furniture pieces created by designers. The possibilities were endless, but alongside the jury we have chosen four different design proposals, each of which can be an inspiration for outlining your own design style.
