How can you celebrate Harvest Day if you live in Parcului20?
October is the time of year when we start enjoying the fruits of our labor. It’s no coincidence that this is when we celebrate Harvest Day, a tradition from rural life in the past, but one that we can still enjoy today, even in a modern urban setting like PARCULUI20.
Even though the forecast predicts a few raindrops – traditionally seen as a sign of abundance – residents of PARCULUI20 have plenty of ways to relax over the weekend.
You can take a stroll in the garden, which is reserved exclusively for residents, or get some exercise in the outdoor calisthenics area. Afterward, you can unwind in your apartment for a cozy evening with loved ones.
If you’re in the mood for more green space, Herăstrău Park is nearby. And while you’re out, why not visit Bucharest Horticultural Autumn – Harvest Day, an event organized by the Faculty of Horticulture at the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine? It’s located at Agronomie Herăstrău Campus on 59 Mărăști Blvd.
This year’s theme is Urban Forest, focusing on its connections and benefits for city life. The Faculty of Horticulture, through its Landscape Architecture Department, has created several relaxation areas where visitors can experience the calming effects of nature – including a sensory experience where you can listen to the sounds of the forest through headphones.

The event, held from October 3-6, also features a pepper-tasting exhibition, presentations on table grapes and wine, stalls with natural products and artisanal treats, as well as flower and ornamental plant displays. There are also themed workshops, horticultural demonstrations in the orchard, and other activities for gardening enthusiasts.
No matter what you choose to do, it promises to be a weekend full of celebration, relaxation, and fun. Don’t you just love to live in PARCULUI20?
